In Haryana’s Nuh district, five individuals were killed, and at least 70 others, including several police officers, were incapacitated as a mob tried to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad procession, pelting stones besides setting cars on fire, as per the reports. Security events have been enhanced around religious places. Meetings between the police, administration, and protruding members of both communities were held to guarantee peace, according to the police. More than 80 people have been arrested in connection with the public violence, and about 40 cases have been registered by the police.
