War 2: It is a known detail that Aditya Chopra is building a Spy Universe on the lines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where all character is interconnected. The first glimpse of it was seen in Pathaan, where Salman Khan’s character Tiger appears to save Shah Rukh Khan’s characters on the train. It is also known that Shah Rukh will arrive in Tiger 3 to save Salman.
But it is now reported that both megastars will be coming together for Ayan Mukerji, Hrithik Roshan, and Jr NTR starrer War 2. India Today suggests that the shooting of the picture will start in October.
The report also advises that the film’s mahurat has already taken place. The initial portions will be shot with Jr NTR as Hrithik is still busy completing Fighter with Siddharth Anand besides Deepika Padukone. The trio is in Italy, shooting for a couple of songs.
Will Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan come together for War 2?
The film will revenue the Spy Universe story ahead. The report also mentioned that the film will bring all trio superspies Kabir, Tiger, and Pathaan together for the first time. It is also rumored that Salman will be introducing Jr NTR into the Universe, but no validation is available. The makers are looking at a 2025 release for the picture.
Aditya Chopra on Wednesday proclaimed that the trailer of Tiger 3 will be released on October 16, and the film is all set to issue during Diwali. His Spy Universe is among the biggest brands in the nation right now, which has names Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Alia Bhatt devoted to it.
It was previously Jr NTR will be the role of an antagonist in War 2. “While the final script is still being industrialized, Jr NTR’s character in War 2 will have some negative shades, which will add a thought-provoking layer to the overall story,” a source cited by Pinkvilla claimed in May this year.
War 2 marks the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which contains previous films like Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2022), and the upcoming Tiger 3 (2023). This picture will continue the storyline from Tiger 3 and eventually lead to the highly anticipated showdown between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Tiger v/s Pathaan.
