Rishab Shetty’s Kantara is one of the blockbuster shows of 2022. For all of the fans, there is great news as the show is once again declared for a new edition. In the new updates, the makers have confirmed the date of announcement of the first look of the film.
Rishab Shetty’s Kannadian masterpiece is definitely one of the greatest surprises for the cinephiles. On Saturday, the prequel has finally declared the title of the prequel. The makers also shared the complete details regarding the first look poster of the film.
By taking to their X account, the makers of the film, Hombale Films, have now announced the first poster of the prequel along with the title. The prequel is titled ‘Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1’. The post captioned, “Step into the sacred echoes of the past, where divinity weaves through every frame. Stay enchanted for a glimpse into the unseen! Kanatara Chapter 1: Plot
Kanatara Chapter 1’ will continue from the Muhurat Pooja, and also be ready to unlock the first look on November 27. For this film, a gigantic set has been constructed. The film has been helmed by Rishab Shetty along with the producer Vijay Kiragandur.
The prequel will originate from Panjurli Daiva which was shown in the main film. Kantara is mainly a vast, mysterious forest. In Karnataka, the forest mainly plays a prominent role. In this film, people in the town are living as children of the Forest Officer and decide to protect their ancestors from the forest. They are protecting the forest like no single piece of wood will not be removed. It also contained the misdeeds of Devendra who is a greedy politician.
The makers of the film will spill the principal photograph in December along with the remaining cast members. As per resources, Rishab Shetty will continue the prequel tale of the 2022 film. It has been set that the film will contain 301-400 AD time period. The makers of the film aimed to conclude the filming by the first quarter of 2024. If things continue as per the plan, then the film will lately released in 2024. In this sequel, the backdrop will be moved from the director’s hometown.
Kanatara Chapter 1: Release date
The first film of Kantara was dropped on September 30, 2022, and the Hindi version was released on October 14, 2022. The film has been produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda, Kantara also stars Sapthami Gowda, and Kishore Kumar G. Kantara has grossed over ₹400 crore globally.
