Not many teenagers can say they performed at Coachella and had security pulling people out because the crowd was *too big*. But that’s exactly what happened to Kamryn Smith — and she’s only 14.

In an exclusive interview, the star of Apple TV+’s *Yo Gabba GabbaLand!* opened up about the festival moment that changed her life, Season 2, and what’s next for the Emmy-nominated show.

## Coachella? She Never Even Dreamed It

Smith was completely caught off guard by the Coachella booking, admitting she never imagined it was even possible. But once she stepped on that stage, the love for performing took over immediately. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_acquisition_of_Warner_Bros._Discovery)

And the crowd? It was massive. The *Yo Gabba GabbaLand!* stage was so packed that security had to remove audience members — it practically needed a main stage slot to hold everyone. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposed_acquisition_of_Warner_Bros._Discovery)

Kamryn also got to perform alongside the original *Yo Gabba Gabba!* host DJ Lance Rock for the very first time — a full-circle moment she called “super awesome.” [Paramount](https://www.paramount.com/press/paramount-to-acquire-warner-bros-discovery-to-form-next-generation-global-media-and-entertainment-company) The Coachella lineup also featured Flavor Flav, Thundercat, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Portugal. The Man, and Paul Williams — not bad company for a kids’ show.
