Kabzaa 2: The film has been renewed
Upendra and Shriya Saran’s fantastic drama film ‘Kabzaa’ has been renewed for ‘Kabzaa 2’. It’s been 25 days, in around 70 theatres. The director gives credit to her entire team. In this film, we have seen that the latest gangster drama has chronicled the ‘Rise of the Indian Gangster’ and is set in pre-Independence India. The makers of the movie declared that the film is going to be a breathtaking one.
Kabzaa 2: All You Need to Know
The brand-new sandalwood drama film was shot completely in huge sets erected in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. The trailer of the movie was launched by Amitabh Bachchan, Amitabh has also shared the trailer by adding a caption, “ Happy to present to you. the trailer of “Underworld Ka Kabzaa”.
A montage shows a child growing up in an environment that was about the independence movement before we see scattered shots of darkened cities and atrocities being committed on Indians. This gives large-scale shots of several ships burning at sea and a glimpse at the film’s anti-hero.
We then see shots of Upendra fleetingly as he obliterates villains and takes the law into his own hands and it seems to be going well for him before he comes face to face with Kiccha Sudeep’s character.
The film, originally shot in Kannada, will also release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, and is being billed as a pan-India production. The makers have called it ‘the next big thing in Indian cinema’.
The big-budget Pan Indian Film is led by the real star Upendra where Shriya Saran is taking responsibility as the female lead, and the most loved Kannada Star Kichha Sudeepa set to play an important role in this film.
“Kabzaa opened to an overwhelming response, and has earned a record collection,” says Chandru, adding, “I am indebted to Upendra, and the credit must go to the entire team.”The mass entertainer started streaming on Prime Video yesterday.
Meanwhile, the director, who also produced the film, under Siddheshwara Enterprises had previously told us about making the film as a duology and made an official announcement at this event. A title look poster of Kabzaa 2, was unveiled by politicians H M Revanna and Ramachandra Gowda. The latter will associate with Chandru in bankrolling the project, which will be presented by KP Sreekanth. The period drama comes with a tagline, “War begins.” The poster shows an empty wooden chair with a gun hung by the side. There are not many details about the film.
In the second version we will see Upendra, Sudeep, and Shivarajkumar and director Chandru plans to rope in top stars from across south Indian languages and Hindi for the sequel. More details about the star cast will be made by the team, once the actors are officially on board.
