Try explaining your favorite K-drama in one sentence and it sounds absurd. “A soldier hides a heiress” is a real sentence, and it’s also why we love the genre. Soompi has a fun quiz built around exactly this idea: guess the drama from a *poorly explained* plot.

### K-Drama: Overview

The Soompi page hosts an embedded interactive quiz, so its actual questions weren’t readable in text form. To keep this post accurate, the teasers below are **original ones I wrote**, not the quiz’s questions. Take the real quiz on Soompi afterward and compare your score.

### Your Mini Challenge

Cover the last column and guess first.

| # | Poorly Explained Plot | Answer |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | “A woman flies into the wrong country and the neighbors won’t stop feeding her.” | *Crash Landing on You* |
| 2 | “An immortal man really wants to retire. Also, his roommate is the Grim Reaper.” | *Goblin* |
| 3 | “Strangers play playground games. Nobody enjoys recess.” | *Squid Game* |
| 4 | “A boss can’t do anything without his secretary. She quits. He panics.” | *What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim* |
| 5 | “A lawyer loves whales and wins court cases. Cases love her back.” | *Extraordinary Attorney Woo* |

### Your Score

- **5/5:** Certified K-drama whiz. You’ve earned the sofa.
- **3–4:** Solid fan. A weekend rewatch will fix the rest.
- **0–2:** Great news, you have a lot of great TV ahead.

### Why These Quizzes Are Addictive?

- **Nostalgia:** One weird line brings back a whole season of emotions.
- **Friendly rivalry:** Everyone thinks they know more than their friends.
- **Discovery:** A show you missed suddenly lands on your watchlist.
