Julian Nagelsmann has not ruled out a possible return to Bayern Munich after his spell with Germany this summer. The 36-year-old has been linked with a number of opportunities, such as Borussia Dortmund, but has maintained that he hasn’t received an offer from any club yet.
He is set to lead the German national team as they host the Euros this summer, but his contract runs out after the tournament. And as a result, there has been a lot of speculation about his future, including a shocking return to Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann not ruling out possible Bayern Munich return
“Jan-Christian Dreesen’s answer is clever. Never ruling things out is part of football,” Nagelsmann said when recently asked about the Bayern CEO’s comments.
Julian Nagelsmann could extend his contract with the German national team too, which would be until the 2026 World Cup. However, it would have to be the right project as he has maintained that he wants the right opportunity before making a change.
Thomas Tuchel has also announced that he will be leaving Bayern at the end of the season, after being brought in last season to replace Nagelsmann, who was put on leave. As a result, there could be the option for a shocking return of the young coach in the summer once the Euros end.
