Atletico Madrid are in an interesting position in the transfer market. The Rojiblancos are closing on an agreement with Julian Alvarez after agreeing a €95 million fee with Manchester City for the striker.
They are also set to bring in Conor Gallagher from Chelsea after reaching a full agreement with the club and the player. They are also expected to sell Samu Omorodion to Chelsea for around €35 million.

The priority for the LaLiga club is to wrap up the transfer of Alvarez soon. And the other two deals are expected to go through only if the Argentine makes the move to the Spanish capital.
As things stand, it looks likely that Julian Alvarez will be playing in red and white next season. While there are some formalities to discuss between the two parties, both are optimistic about getting a deal over the line.
The former river plate striker has won every trophy there is to win with City except for the EFL Cup. However he has proven himself to be a very reliable alternative to Erling Haaland during his time in Manchester.
