Jude Bellingham has won the Laureus Award for Breakthrough of the Year 2024, after his incredible start to life in Real Madrid. The former Borussia Dortmund man has hit the ground running, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions.
His latest contribution came in the form of the match winning goal against Barcelona, in Real Madrid’s 3-2 El Clasico win. And only 24 hours later, the England international was present at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid to receive the award from tennis star Carlos Alcaraz, a Real Madrid fan himself.

At the end of the ceremony, Bellingham told Real Madrid TV: “I’m delighted. Simply being here was already an honor.
