Real Madrid’s new star Jude Bellingham has won the 2023 Golden Boy Award, dominating the voting poll. The Englishman recently won the Kopa Trophy at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, while finishing 18th in the men’s award rankings.

The Englishman had an outstanding season with Borussia Dortmund, even though they narrowly missed out on the Bundesliga title on the final day of the season with the midfielder out injured.

However, he scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 42 games across all competitions last season.

His start to life in Madrid has been nothing short of sensational, scoring 13 goals in as many games for Los Blancos. Right now, he is by far the most in-form player in the world and will soon officially become the first-ever player from Real Madrid to win the Golden Boy Award.

After Barcelona’s Pedri and Gavi in the last two years, the award has finally gone to the 20-year-old, who is miles ahead of everyone else right now. And with the quality of performances he is putting in every single week, he is an early contender for the Ballon d’or next year.

The award will be formally presented to the Madrid star on November 10.

Bellingham made the headlines most recently for scoring a match-winning brace in his first El Clasico appearance. The midfielder first scored a golazo before scoring a tap-in late in stoppage time to claim all three points in the heated fixture.
