Jude Bellingham has won the LaLiga Player of the Year award in his first season at Real Madrid. The midfielder arrived last summer from Borussia Dortmund, in a club record transfer. He hit the ground running, scoring 19 goals and helping Madrid win the title by 10 points.
Now, the 20-year-old has the chance to end the season with a double. But, it will be an emotional affair for Bellingham, as he will face his former club, Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium this Saturday.

Bellingham was chosen ahead of Vinicius Jr, Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Artem Dovbyk (Girona) and Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona) in votes cast by fans, club captains and a panel of experts.
“I would like to dedicate it to my team-mates, the coaching staff and, most importantly, to the fans of the best club in the world,” Jude Bellingham, who was unable to attend Tuesday’s ceremony as he is getting ready for Saturday’s final, said in a message.
“It’s a pleasure every time I play for this team. Hala Madrid.”
Last season, he was the Bundesliga Player of the Season at 19. And for the second season in a row, he has been named the best in his league, showing incredible consistency and quality so early in his career.
