Many people had written Mourinho off and dismantled his claim of being the ‘special one’ when he was sacked from his last two jobs. First Chelsea and then Manchester United. It seemed that he has lost his charisma and doesn’t have what it takes to make it big once again.

When Mourinho was appointed as the manager of Tottenham Hotspur after the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino, it was believed that Tottenham has taken a down step. But the Portuguese man has proved everyone wrong and have made Tottenham a Premier League title contender once again and also hopes to win the Europa League this year.

Apart from making Tottenham title contenders, he has brought up a very special relationship among Harry Kane and Son Heing-min. Both of them have already combined for 13 Premier League goals this season, which is the highest in history and surprisingly we aren’t even halfway through the league phase.

Jose Mourinho has now named his favourite team to watch in the Premier League right now. He told BT Sport, “When we played the people who are considered the top six people say easier games are coming but I of course don’t believe it.”

“Leeds are difficult and Aston Villa is my favourite team in the Premier League at the moment. I enjoy watching them, they have good players and are very well coached. This is up next.”

Tottenham Hotspur will be facing Aston Villa in the Premier League on 13th January. After a string of bad performances, Mourinho’s men are back in form and currently sits at the third position in the table.
