Lionel Messi has joined Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona on a free transfer due to his former club’s financial struggles. He has now been reunited with his former Barcelona teammate Neymar.
Now, everyone is early waiting to see MNM (Messi-Neymar-Mbappe) in action. However, Messi returned late from international action as he won the Copa America 2021 beating Neymar’s Brazil. His transfer to PSG is also one of the reasons due to which he didn’t have a regular pre-season.
But now Messi is nearing his full match sharpness and he can make his PSG debut in the coming weekend against Reims on 29th August.

“The week has been very good for Leo, so we hope that next week is a long week and we hope that, if everything goes well, he can be in the group and start to be part of the team in a competitive way,” Pochettino admitted to ESPN.
PSG have built a dream team of their own. Their attacking front of Messi, Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria can definitely beat any team on any day on paper. The French giants are hoping to finally lift the Champions League trophy this season after losing in 2019-20 final to Bayern Munich.
