About the poster of Jomaloy Jibonto Bhanu
The first look of the picture was revealed on Bhanu’s 101st birthday in the presence of his lad Gautam and daughter Basabi Bandyopadhyay Ghatak. ‘Jamalaye Jibanta Manush’ (1958), starring the mythological Bhanu, is one of the most popular movies of the actor. The manufacturers said that ‘Jomaloye Jibonto Bhanu’ starring Saswata will not be a biopic. However, the film will be near Bhanu, his famous, most cherished movie scenes and magic instants of his movies.
However, it is makeup artist Somnath Kundu who did all the hard work when it came to making Saswata look amazingly similar to Bhanu. Kundu was responsible for Jeetu Kamal’s exceptional look of Satyajit Ray in ‘Aparajito.’ “Bhanu Bandyopadhyay stood an immensely talented actor. He is an immortal name. Though movies have changed or are changing over time, our love besides admiration for him is eternal,” said Ghosal, who is known for directing flicks like ‘Sagardwipey Jawker Dhan’ and ‘Swastik Sanket.’ Ghosal also noted that Jomaloy Jibonto Bhanu would bring back actors of the ‘golden era.’ Nevertheless, the director didn’t reveal much; he said:
“The story would be an agreeable journey through that time and those memories.” Though Ghosal is still occupied with the script, Dr Krishnendu Chatterjee is helping him with the screenplay and dialogues. Raja Narayan Deb is in charge of the music department. Ghosal will publicize the rest of the cast soon. Jomaloy Jibonto Bhanu will go on floors primary next year.
