Paris Saint-Germain are set to sign Joao Neves for a fee worth €70 million, with Renato Sanches going the other way. They have an agreement with Benfica over the structure of the deal as things stand.
The Portuguese club is currently negotiating terms with Sanches, who played for them at the academy level and the start of his professional career. Once they have agreed a contract with Sanches, the move is set to go through.

Neves has been very highly rated as one of the top young midfielders in the world. So much so that PSG have spent upwards of €60 million on another midfielder from Portugal just a year after they spent the same amount on Manuel Ugarte.
The Uruguayan’s future remains uncertain for the time being with Manchester United reportedly interested in signing him. With Joao Neves’ arrival, a deal could be in the works in the coming days.
However, PSG will also have an interesting challenge fitting him into their midfield which is already occupied by Vitinha, Warren Zaire-Emery, Fabian Ruiz and more. Without regular game time at his age, his development could be hindered.
However, things could take a turn if both Ugarte and Sanches end up leaving the French capital by the end of the transfer window.
