In terms of the operating system, the Jio JioBook 11 runs on JioOS, a custom operating system developed by Jio, promising a seamless user experience. On the other hand, the Primebook 4G Android Laptop operates on PrimeOS which is based on Android 11, granting access to a vast ecosystem of applications.

Design and Display

The Jio JioBook 11 boasts a sleek design with dimensions of 273 x 190 x 16.3 mm, making it highly portable and easy to carry around. It weighs a mere 990 gms, making it an ideal companion for those always on the move. In contrast, the Primebook 4G Android Laptop has a measurement of 281 X 192 X 19.3 mm and weighs around 1.06 Kg, ensuring a balance between mobility and visual experience.

The JioBook 11 features an 11.6-inch LED Backlight display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, providing an adequate pixel density of approximately 135 PPI. It also offers an anti-glare screen, making it suitable for extended usage in various lighting conditions. Conversely, the Primebook 4G Android Laptop outshines its counterpart with an HD IPS display, promising better color reproduction and wider viewing angles.

Connectivity and Input

Both devices offer essential connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, enabling seamless internet access and peripheral connectivity. The devices are supporting Wi-Fi on both 5GHz and 2.4 GHz bands alongside Bluetooth 5.0.

The Jio JioBook 11 and the Primebook 4G Android Laptop come with 2MP cameras each, potentially enhancing the overall video quality during video conferencing and multimedia purposes.

When it comes to input methods, you can find nearly the same keyboard setup. Where Jio says it is the Infinity Keyboard, for the Primebook 4G Android Laptop it’s the simple QWERTY keyboard. You can play with various shortcuts and multi-touch gestures on any of these devices.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the same chipset, MediaTek MT8788 is managing all the computing activities for both devices. It’s an octa-core CPU with a turbo speed of up to 2 GHz per core.

In terms of memory, the JioBook 11 is equipped with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a 64 GB eMMC-based hard disk interface. The Primebook 4G Android Laptop also running with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and a 64 GB eMMC-based hard disk interface. Though the RAM and internal storages are identical, you can expand it to a max of 256GB with a microSD card in JioBook. But the Primebook allows only up to 128GB. So, it’s clearly a differential factor.

Battery

Both devices offer decent battery life, ensuring that users can stay productive and entertained on the go. The Jio JioBook 11 promises over 8 hours of battery backup with a 4,000mAh battery within the cabinet, while the Primebook 4G Android Laptop offers nearly the same with the exact same size of battery.
