Reliance Jio has been giving a lot of surprises since its inception, its latest Jio Fiber broadband connection has a lot of benefits and we all know that. These days most of us use Smart TVs or are converting our existing non-smart TVs to smart ones, while Jio Fiber also provides that as well, offering a free set top box with OTT content for watching live channel other stuff.
There’s no denial of the fact that Jio has superior fibre-optic broadband service but there’s a lot of competition in the market already. So, Jio intends to lure more users to its network by providing the annual Amazon Prime membership worth Rs. 999 for free.
This includes free and fast delivery from Amazon, Prime Music, unlimited access to Amazon Prime Video, as part of the plan benefits at no additional cost whatsoever, however, this is a one time offer only. This offer is not available for monthly subscribers but only with quarterly, half-yearly or yearly plans.
If you already have an Amazon Prime membership you cannot avail the benefit with the same account, so you do have to wait until your current membership ends. You can enjoy Amazon Prime Video on your TV as Jio has added the Prime Video app to its Jio Set-Top box. Jio already offers Hotstar, SonyLiv, Zee5, SunNxt, Voot and JioCinema subscriptions with selected Jio Fiber plans.
Interestingly, Jio has been teasing a poster that suggests soon, all of its pre-paid users will be getting 1 year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for free. This offer should soon be revealed and we will let you all know as soon as Jio confirms it.
