After a lot of teasers and suspense, Jio finally unveils a new prepaid plan that gives you the opportunity to avail the 1 year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for free.
Jio’s new ₹401 plan offers a 1-year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription along with 90GB data benefits (3GB per day + 6GB). Along with that, you get unlimited voice calling (Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 1000 minutes), and 100 SMS / day along with access to all the Jio apps for just 28 days.
As you know, the 1 year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription itself costs ₹399, so if you want to continue with the membership, you have to continue with this plan every month, much like what Airtel did previously. Obviously, if you are one who needs a lot of data daily, then this plan can actually help you a lot.
Besides this monthly, Jio has also bundled the 1 year Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription with its ₹2599 annual plan that gives you the benefit of 740GB data (2GB per day + 10GB). Along with that, you get unlimited voice calling (Jio to Jio Unlimited, Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 12000 minutes), 100 SMS / day and access to all the Jio app for 365 days.
If you are an average users who do not need more than 2GB data each day then you can actually benefit a lot from this plan, but you have to pay a hefty ₹2599 at once.
Also, you can avail the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription with the combo-pack of data add-on vouchers, starting from ₹612 (12 vouchers of Rs. 51) that gives you 72GB data benefits, 6000 minutes Jio to Non-Jio along with your base plan. There are other add-on packs like ₹1004, ₹1206 and ₹1208 that gives you the Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription as well.
