Reliance has unveiled Jio AirFiber, an internet service that delivers high-speed broadband connectivity through wireless means. This wireless internet service is designed to address the challenges associated with providing internet access in areas where laying optical fibers is difficult. Jio AirFiber is currently accessible in eight cities, namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

In addition to extending internet access to hard-to-reach locations, JioFiber offers an extensive package, including more than 550 digital TV channels in high definition. Users also gain complimentary access to over 16 OTT (Over-The-Top) apps, including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5, JioCinema, SunNXT, Hoichoi, Discovery+, Universal+, ALTBalaji, Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, Docubay, and EpicOn. The company provides a Wi-Fi router, a 4k Smart Set Top Box, and a voice remote as part of the package, all at no extra cost.
The most affordable Jio AirFiber plan is priced at ₹599 per month, offering a maximum speed of 30 Mbps and access to 14 OTT apps. For those seeking higher speeds, the ₹899 plan provides the same benefits but with unlimited data at 100 Mbps.
Customers interested in Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium can opt for the ₹1,199 plan, which includes unlimited data at 100 Mbps and access to 550+ channels. Jio also offers AirFiber Max plans tailored for heavy users, which encompass 550+ channels, 14 OTT apps, and access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium.
The most budget-friendly Jio AirFiber Max plan delivers unlimited data at 300 Mbps for ₹1,499 per month. Meanwhile, the ₹2,499 and ₹3,999 plans offer maximum speeds of 500 Mbps and 1000 Mbps, respectively. It’s worth noting that these plans are available only in select areas.
To acquire a Jio FiberAir connection, you can initiate the process by giving a missed call to 60008-60008, visiting the Jio website, or visiting the nearest Jio store. The company indicates that an outdoor unit will be installed on your terrace or outside your home for a cost of ₹1,000, but this fee will be waived if you opt for an annual plan.
