East Bengal are in the running for another Kerala Blasters player, with Jeakson Singh likely to make the switch this time around. However, they are not alone in the race for the talented midfielder, as their rivals, Mohun Bagan SG are also in the running after the intense tussle for Apuia earlier in the transfer window.
Several outlets have reported that the Torch Bearers are in talks with Kerala Blasters and are close to wrapping up the deal soon. However, with multiple offers on the table, nothing can be said for sure till an official announcement is made.

According to TOI’s Marcus Mergulhao, the India international will be on the move this summer. But, his destination remains uncertain for the time being.
After missing out on Apuia, East Bengal will be doubly determined to secure a high quality defensive midfielder for the coming season. The number six position remains the only hole in their squad for the time being, and Jeakson Singh would be the perfect fit to slot into the lineup.
If the move does go through, Jeakson would reunite with former Kerala Blasters teammates Prabhsukhan Gill, Nishu Kumar and Dimitrios Diamantakos, all of whom have swapped the yellow for red and gold.
How many games has Jeakson Singh played for Kerala Blasters?
