Jamshedpur Golden Baby League: Here are the results from the Week 8

JPS U9s pick up comfortable 5-0 victory over Carmel Junior College in Week 8 of Jamshedpur Golden Baby League

Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) continued their good form in the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League as their U9s picked up a comfortable 5-0 victory over Carmel Junior College in Week 8 of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League. 

The JPS Juniors outfit was the victorious team against the Carmel Warriors in the U9s category of the tournament and put on a dominating display in front of cheering family members.

The second edition of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League 2023, hosted by Jamshedpur FC in conjunction with Jharkhand Football Association (JFA) and Jharkhand Sporting Association (JSA) has been divided into U5, U7, U9, U11 and U13 categories for the benefit of kids across the city. 

The 10-month long tournament will be held every Sunday morning at the Archery ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex to nurture development and add to the existing grassroots schools program run by the club during the week after school hours.

Another bright Sunday morning was greeted with fun and excited faces as the kids and parents arrived sharp and early for Baby League action to the Archery Ground at JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, and the action did not disappoint.

As many as 120 students participated in Week 8 of the Jamshedpur Golden Baby League, which is an improvement on last week’s numbers, showcasing the popularity of the weekly tournament. 

The U7 category saw the highest number this week, with 30 students participating, while 23 students took part in the U5 category, 29 in the U9s, 18 in the U11s and 20 students in the U13 category. 

The U5s played four matches, U7s played three matches, two matches were played by the U9s, while one each was played in the U11s and U13s.
