Cricket chaos erupted in Colombo as Yashasvi Jaiswal’s heated confrontation with Asitha Fernando triggered an ICC investigation. Despite debates over a “headbutt,” both players were slapped with 25% match-fee fines and demerit points. Legend Cheteshwar Pujara slammed the conduct as unacceptable, demanding elite emotional control. As disciplinary reviews loom, the future of this fiery opener remains under intense global scrutiny.
