Jack Harrison has signed for Everton after a crazy 24 hours, which saw interest from Aston Villa after he had completed his medical with the Toffees. Unai Emery called the player himself, but after finding out that he had sustained an injury, the move to Villa fell through and he completed his transfer to Everton.

The Leeds United winger has completed a loan move to Merseyside, following the relegation of the Yorkshire club at the end of the 22/23 season. His arrival has been confirmed by the club on their official website.

“Everton have completed the signing of forward Jack Harrison on a season-long loan from Leeds United.

“The 26-year-old passed his medical with the Club yesterday before completing the necessary paperwork this morning. He will now continue his rehabilitation from a minor hip injury before being available for Sean Dyche’s squad,” the official statement read.

Harrison has become the fourth signing for the club after the arrival of Ashley Young, Arnaut Danjuma and Youssef Chermiti. He made the move to Leeds in 2021, having been at the club since 2018 on loan. And now, he has moved back to the Premier League with the Toffees.

Everton were in talks to sign Wilfried Gnonto from Leeds United as well. But, have been unable to reach an agreement for the Italy international so far. The player has refused to play for Leeds in the Championship, and they are now opening disciplinary procedures against the 19-year-old now.
