Both of the ISL Semi-final ended in a draw in the first leg. It all depends upon the second leg score, which will decide the two finalists of this year.

Yesterday, FC Goa drew against Mumbai City FC as they squandered a lead twice in their 2-2 draw against Mumbai City FC on Friday. FC Goa took the lead through Igor Angulo’s penalty (20′). Mumbai City equalized at 38th minute by Hugo Boumous’ goal. The Gaurs again scored at 58th minute as Saviour Gama scored for them. But Mumbai City FC responded very quickly and scored in the 62nd minute. Mourtada Fall scored the second goal for Mumbai City FC.

It was a thrilling contest throughout the 90 minutes. The second leg of this fixture is on Monday. It is very tough to call who will go through.

However, the second semi-final also ended in a 1-1 draw as North-East United scored an injury-time equalizer against the defending champion ATK Mohun Bagan FC. ATK Mohun Bagan FC took the lead at the 34th-minute mark as David Williams scored for the Mariners. But the High-landers refused to give up and kept fighting for the equalizer.

At the 94th minute of the game, North-East United scored the equalizer as Idrissa Sylla scored from a header and ensured his side does not go into the second leg on the back foot.

NorthEast United FC coach interim head coach Khalid Jamil is very happy to see the attitude and hunger. After the match, he said, “After conceding in in the first half we were thinking in the dressing room that we must make an early change. However, I waited for a while. Sylla was also not fully fit and I thought I would give him 30 minutes. He and Britto did a good job.”

North-East will take on ATK Mohun Bagan FC on Tuesday in the second leg of this tie.
