ISL new broadcaster updates: The ISL is now searching for a new broadcaster after the conclusion of the deal with Star Sports. The broadcasting rights have been with Star ever since the beginning of the league in 2014. Earlier, it was known that the deal was 10 years long and would have expired in 2024.
However, according to new information revealed by Khel Now, the contract was actually a 5+4 year one, and has run out. Which means that Star Sports no longer hold the broadcasting rights over the ISL. And a new home for the league is now being looked for.

Sports 18, Sony, and Jio Sports are in the bidding war to secure the rights for the Indian top flight ahead of the 23/24 season. Disney+ Hotstar and Sony Liv are expected to be in the fray to secure the rights, but nothing has been finalised yet.
The new ISL broadcaster is set to be confirmed by the end of July, with the bidding process set to be carried out rapidly.
The production will be managed by the FSDL, while the marketing and the sponsorship will be carried out by the new broadcaster once they win the race to secure the rights.
