ISL 24-25: Kolkata derby fixtures for 2024 released

The fixtures for the first half of the ISL 24-25 season have now been released. And we now have confirmation of the date for the Kolkata derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan SG.

With Mohammedan Sporting making the move up to the ISL this season after their I-League title win, they will be the third club from Kolkata to participate in the league. As a result, there will be a total of six derbies between the three teams throughout the season.

ISL reveal dates for Kolkata derby ahead of 24-25 season

The first of the six will feature Mohun Bagan SG taking on Mohammedan Sporting on November 5 at Salt Lake Stadium. The traditional Kolkata derby between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan SG follows, with the fixture set to be played on October 19.

East Bengal will then take on Mohammedan Sporting on November 5 to complete the first three fixtures. All the matches have been set for a Saturday kickoff at 7:30PM IST.

It will be interesting to see how the three teams perform in the coming season, especially given East Bengal’s massive transfer window performance and Mohammedan’s debut in the ISL.
