The ISL landscape is shifting! With Jamshedpur FC’s exit and Diamond Harbour’s failed entry, the league shrinks to 13 teams for 2026-27. To stabilize this volatile transition, the AIFF is set to pause relegation entirely. It is a bold, strategic move to safeguard the competition’s future. Expect a high-stakes season as clubs fight for glory without the pressure of dropping out.
