Hyderabad FC Team Profile
The team missed out on the playoffs by a very small margin, finishing fifth in their second season in the ISL. After finishing 5th in their second ever season in the top flight, the Nizams are looking like solid competitors for the top four.
Most of their success last season was attributed to their young players. Hyderabad FC’s tie-up with Borussia Dortmund is one of the reasons behind their significant youth development. They are mainly focusing on the growth of young players and coaching staff, and the results are showing on the pitch since the youngsters are performing well.
The club has managed to recruit a number of experienced players to add to their young lineup. Bartholomew Ogbeche, Edu Garcia and Juanan have all been signed by the Nizams. Their presence has the ability to turn Hyderabad into one of the best attacking teams in the league.
At the same time, Laxmikant Kattimani will have to step up and reduce the errors between the sticks. Experience is also lacking in midfield, which could prove to be a drawback as the season rolls on.
Overall, Hyderabad FC fans can be optimistic about a successful season this time around as well.
