Isco is set to leave Sevilla after only four months back in Andalusia, with his contract to be terminated. The two parties are working to reach an agreement to end their association in the coming days. Which means that the midfielder will be available as a free agent during the winter transfer window.
He has made 19 appearances for the Basque side, but things went south for him after the sacking of Julen Lopetegui. The current Wolves manager was sacked after a disastrous start to the season, and Isco is now set to follow him through the exit door.
Isco to leave Sevilla after terminating contract
There were a lot of differences between new manager Jorge Sampaoli, sporting director Monchi and the player. He was then told he had no place in the starting lineup, which led to a major argument with Monchi in front of the rest of the squad.
He left Real Madrid as a free agent this summer, and signed a contract with the record Europa League winners until 2024. But, it will be terminated in the coming days after it has been confirmed that there is no future for him in the team.
There have been rumours of a reunion with Lopetegui at Wolves, but nothing concrete has been discussed yet. As of now, his next destination is anybody’s guess. And a move abroad could be in the works for the Spaniard if he wishes to try out a new experience.
