Isco has been named the LaLiga player of the month for April, adding to what has been an incredible debut season at Real Betis for the attacking midfielder. The former Real Madrid man had a difficult spell at Sevilla, and made the move to Betis at the start of the season.
He has been named the MVP in 18 out of the 27 LaLiga matches he has played this season, which proves how effective he has been on the pitch for the club. Isco has scored seven goals and provided four assists in 27 league games this season, helping Betis climb up to seventh and stay in contention for a Europa Conference League spot.

The 32-year-old has a contract with Betis until 2027, meaning he will be a vital part of the project for the coming seasons. And given his consistency this year, he could be called up to the Spanish national team for the European Championships.
Isco hasn’t been called up since 2019, but has earned 38 caps and scored 12 goals since his debut in 2013. It now remains to be seen whether he can capitalise on the resurgence and make it to Germany for the tournament, especially given the 26-man squads.
