Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has to conclude by shedding some light on the highly anticipated third installment of the hit license, ‘Don 3.’ In a recent interview, Farhan revealed that the makers are currently in the procedure of finalizing the lead actress opposite Ranveer Singh was given over the responsibility to take the legacy forward and be the new Don in the third installment of the Don franchise. Many extolled the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani actor Ranveer Singh’s look, although others expressed disappointment.
They trolled the director over his result as they felt he could not fill in the shoes of megastar Shah Rukh Khan. Now, amongst these controversial reports, Farhan has spilled the beans about forming the female lead. Ranveer Singh starrer Don 3 is likely to hit the theaters in 2025.
But clasp on to your horses, like the backlash the two are in front of now, and King Khan was too judged before he came on the awning as Don, replacing Big B Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, the actor-filmmaker bare that superstar Shah Rukh Khan was the one who had suggested Ranveer Singh’s appellation as the new Don.

While the makers familiarized Ranveer as Don, they are yet to reveal the name of the female chief opposite him. In the original two installments of Akhtar’s ‘Don’ franchise, Priyanka Chopra was seen as Roma opposite SRK in concert. And if the latest reports are to be supposed, Kiara Advani has been approached to star contradictory Ranveer in ‘Don 3’. But Kiara would not be stepping into the shoes of PeeCee, and instead, she might play the new-fangled villain in the ‘Don’ franchise. Official confirmation on the same is expected from the makers.
About Don 3
On August 8, afterward much anticipation and hype, Farhan announced the tertiary film in the ‘Don’ franchise. He also penned a particular memo for Bachchan and SRK, hoping people would shower equal love on the new Don as they did with the two celebrities earlier.
“The time has now come to take the inheritance of Don forward and join us in this new interpretation resolve be an actor whose talent and versatility I have long admired. We hope you will show him the love you have so politely and generously shown to Mr. Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan,” he wrote.
In the declaration video of ‘Don 3’, Ranveer can be seen lighting a cigarette while mouthing the iconic dialogue, “11 million ki police dhoondhti hai mujhe, par pakad paya hai mujhko kaun? Main hu Don.”
