iQOO Z9 Turbo+ Launching September 24 with Three Color Variants Revealed

The iQOO Z9 Turbo+ is set to launch on September 24 in China, with the brand releasing multiple teasers to highlight its key features. Now, iQOO has also announced the colors of the phone — Night Black, Starlight White, and Moon Shadow Titanium. The Z9 Turbo+ carries the same design for colorways as its black, white, and mint predecessor at launch.

Last year, the company hinted at some of the key specs of the Z9 Turbo+. In terms of specs, it will come with a 6.78-inch TCL C8 OLED display having a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The screen will be embedded with an in-screen fingerprint sensor which adds extra security. It will also feature an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance in the case of the Z9 Turbo+.

In terms of its specifications, the Z9 Turbo+ will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus SoC at its heart, along with the provision of an 80W fast charging-compatible 6,400mAh battery. It is going to be 7.98mm thick and will tip the scales at just 196 grams, contributing a sleek and manageable form factor. For photos and videos, the phone has a 16MP front-facing camera. On the back, iQOO adds an OIS-capable 50MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra-wide shooter.

The Z9 Turbo+ is expected to run on Android 14, with iQOO’s custom OriginOS 4 layered on top. To manage heat dissipation, the phone will come equipped with a 6K vapor chamber (VC) cooling system, ensuring optimal performance during heavy use.

In terms of storage and memory, rumors suggest the Z9 Turbo+ will be available in 12GB or 16GB RAM options, with storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB using UFS 4.0 technology. The base model is expected to be priced at 2,299 Yuan (~$325). Currently, there is no confirmation on whether the Z9 Turbo+ will be launched in global markets.
