The official launch date for the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G in India has been announced by the company through a media invite shared on Twitter. The upcoming addition to the iQOO Z-series lineup will feature a curved display with a distinctive hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera.

As revealed in a teaser poster posted on the company’s Twitter account, the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G is set to make its debut in India on August 31. Media invitations for the launch event have already been dispatched by the brand. Both iQOO and Amazon India have unveiled similar microsites, showcasing design aspects and features of the upcoming iQOO Z7 Pro 5G.
The phone’s design highlights a curved display with a hole-punch cutout positioned at the center to accommodate the front camera. Prospective buyers now have the opportunity to register for updates, ensuring they receive the latest notifications about the impending release.
As per a recent report by NDTV, leaked information suggests that the price of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G in India could fall in the range of ₹25,000 to ₹30,000. The leak also provides insights into the phone’s specifications, including a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to come in two RAM options — 8GB and 12GB — and two storage capacities — 128GB and 256GB. The device is likely to be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, with a noteworthy performance score of over 700,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
The anticipated camera setup for the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G reportedly consists of a dual rear camera system featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, a 16-megapixel sensor is expected. The smartphone is projected to house a 4,600mAh battery, supplemented by 66W fast charging support.
