Shortly after the launch of the iQOO Z5, the company seems to be gearing up to announce a new variant to the smartphone. New sightings on the internet indicate that the device will be called iQOO Z5x and will make its debut on October 20. The information comes from a new poster shared by iQOO on Weibo.
The poster does not reveal much information about the smartphone yet but it does provide a glimpse of it, for some takeaways. According to the post, interested buyers can pre-order the smartphone through iQOO’s online shop. The iQOO Z5x has undergone the 3C certification and also popped up on the Google Play Console followed by its latest appearance of Geekbench.
The teaser shows that the iQOO Z5x will offer a rectangular rear camera module in the top-left corner. The setup will house two cameras, which will be assisted by a LED flash. It might have a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
As per the poster, the iQOO Z5x has a volume rocker and power key on the right side of the frame. The power key will also act as a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. iQOO Z5x is shown in two colour options — Black and Orange. On the right spine, the phone is seen with a volume rocker and a power button. The bottom of iQoo Z5x is shown to house a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As mentioned above, the device has been spotted on multiple platforms online including Google Play Console, Geekbench, 3C, and TENAA. The handset is said to come with 163.95 x 75. X 8.5mm dimension and weigh around 169gms. The iQOO Z5x is said to run on the Dimensity 900 processor unlike the Qualcomm chipset on the standard model.
