Last month, iQOO announced the Z5 5G smartphone in China and India. Reports have claimed that China will soon receive another Z-Series handset called the iQOO Z5x.
The alleged Z5x has appeared in the database of the TENAA certification platform with full specs and images.
A Vivo phone with V2131A has bagged approval from the TENAA authority. It can be said based on a recently seen IMEI database listing that this device may release in the Chinese market with the iQOO Z5x moniker.
The listing reveals that the handset is fitted with a 6.58″ TFT panel with a top-center positioned 8MP selfie camera. It measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm and weighs 169g.
The rear panel of the device is a 50MP+2MP dual-camera setup. The phone runs on Android 11 OS and is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor and a 4,800mAh battery.
The 3C certification of this model revealed that it may come with a 44W fast charger.
The device is most likely to arrive in 6GB/8GB RAM variants and 128GB/256GB storage variants, the other features that are available on the device include a microSD card slot and a side-facing fingerprint reader.
The previously seen Google Play Console listing of the V2131A revealed that it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC.
It is likely to be priced at around Yuan 1,000 or 11,660 INR according to reports from tipster Digital Chat Station.
Another tipster said that it will debut by the end of this month and will be available for purchase in early November. The iQOO Z5x is now listed on JD.com for reservations.
