iQOO Z5 5G launched in India, starts at ₹23,990

iQOO held a launch event today where it finally launched the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone in India. With the iQOO Z5 5G, the brand aims to deliver to its customers in the gaming market a device that will render an unparalleled gaming experience.

The iQOO Z5, the successor to the popular iQOO Z3 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC, the chipset works on 6nm technology which enables it to deliver 40% better CPU and 40% GPU performance in comparison to the regular Snapdragon 778G chipset.

The Z5 5G has a flagship-level LPDDR5 RAM with 6400Mbps theoretical speed, it also is paired with UFS 3.1. iQOO claims that the Z5 5G is the most powerful device in its price segment. The device secured an AnTuTu Score of 568448.

The device also features an impressive 5,000mAh battery that comes with support for 44W FlashCharge technology.

The iQOO Z5 5G has a 6.67″ LCD Screen with Full HD+ display, a resolution of 1080 x 2400p, a high refresh rate of 120Hz, and it also has DCI-P3 Color Gamut. The display has support for HDR 10 and has obtained a TUV Rheinland Blue-light certification.

Coming to the RAM, iQOO Z5 5G comes in an 8GB RAM variant and a 12GB RAM variant. The device has an extended RAM feature that gives you a Virtual RAM space of an additional 4GB.

iQOO has integrated the VC Liquid Cooling Technology to ensure you get a smooth gaming experience even while playing for extended periods of time. The device has a Touch Sampling Rate of 240Hz and offers Surround Sound with its dual-stereo speakers.

The iQOO Z5 5G also has a linear motor. iQOO has now introduced the new Ultra Game Mode 2.0 using which provides quick access to all the functions of the game and aids in adjusting the settings of the game.

The iQOO Z5 5G has a 3D Curved back and has a unique texture as well so that you get a comfortable grip. The iQOO Z5 5G comes in Mystic Space and Arctic Dawn color variants.

Coming to the camera specs, the Z5 5G has a triple-camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a macro shooter. The device has support for Super Night Mode which aids in low light situations. The iQOO Z5 5G has the dual-video recording feature as well. It has a 16MP selfie shooter.

The iQOO Z5 5G runs on Android 11 based Origin OS 1.0 out-of-the-box. Coming to the pricing of the device, the 8GB RAM +128GB storage variant of the iQOO Z5 5G retails for 23,990 INR and the 12GB RAM+256GB storage variant retails for 26,990 INR.
