iQOO Neo 5 launched in China starting at CNY 2,499

Vivo‘s sub-brand iQOO has launched the new iQOO Neo 5 in China today. Just a week back, iQOO officially shared a poster revealing the battery specification and fast-charging capacity of the iQOO Neo 5. The smartphone flaunts a 6.62 inches FHD+ AMOLED display and comes with a strong 120 Hz refresh rate. It also has up to 1,000 Hz of instant touch sample rate. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes with HDR10+ support.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor and runs on Android 11-based OriginOS for iQOO. It comes with LPDDR4x RAM & UFS 3.1 of internal storage. The device comes with three different storage and RAM combinations; 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, and 12 GB + 256 GB.

The new iQOO device packs a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 48 MP Sony IMX598 (f/1.8) main sensor, a 13 MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP (f/2.4) monochrome camera. On the front-side, you can spot a 16MP selfie snapper. This tells that they have a strong camera setup if we consider the price bracket it will be sold in. Talking about the battery, the iQOO Neo5 draws energy from a 4,400 mAh battery cell which is paired with a 66W fast-charging support.

It offers support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port. The device comes in three colours which are Night Shadow Black, Cloud Shadow Blue, and Pixel Orange. The three storage variants come with three different prices. These are:

  • 8 GB + 128 GB: CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 28,000)
  • 8 GB + 256 GB: CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 30,000)
  • 12 GB + 256 GB: CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 33,400)

Apart from the smartphone, iQOO has launched a few accessories. You can find the list below:
