iQOO 13 Launches in China: A Flagship Phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and Innovative Features

The iQOO 13 has been officially released in China and it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which is the flagship successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The new iQOO device presents an updated design with micro curved edges and a high resolution 2K BOE LTPO screen along with a big battery capacity and 120W fast charging support. A unique feature called “Energy Halo” embellishes the camera setup which offers customizable options.

The iQOO 13 is gearing up for its entrance, in India following the footsteps of its predecessor iQOO 12, and will also introduce a BMW Motorsport edition; however, the exact release date remains undisclosed. In terms of pricing, the iQOO 13 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 47,200) for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The price increases to CNY 4,299 (around ₹50,800) for the 16GB + 256GB version, CNY 4,499 (around ₹53,100) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, CNY 4,699 (around ₹55,500) for the 16GB + 512GB model, and CNY 5,199 (approximately ₹61,400) for the 16GB + 1TB version with crystal diamond glass. The handset is available in several colors: black (Track Edition), green (Isle of Man), grey (Nado Ash), and white (Legendary Edition).

The iQOO 13 comes with a 6.82 inch 2K BOE Q10 FHD+ 8T LTPO 2.0 OLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. It comes with a peak brightness of 1800 nits with PWM Dimming at 259Hz for smooth visuals a refresh rate of 144Hz and a punch-hole cutout design on the screen itself for added aesthetics. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite which has shown impressive performance on AnTuTu benchmarks scoring over the remarkable milestone of 3 million and also boasts an in-house Q2 gaming chip dedicated to optimizing gaming experiences.

The device comes with a maximum of 16GB LPDDR4X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage and runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 as its custom skin. For photography, it boasts a 50MP Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto lens, also with OIS. There’s a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls, complemented by the Nice 2.0 Algorithm to improve image quality.

The iQOO 13 is equipped with a 6,150mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. Additional features include an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an IP69/IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and a 7K dual-drive heat sink to manage heat during gaming sessions. The customizable “Energy Halo” LED around the rear camera module offers six dynamic effects and twelve color combinations. For connectivity, it supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS, and features a USB Type-C port.
