The launch of the iQOO 12 series appears imminent, although the official date is yet to be confirmed by the Vivo sub-brand. A recent leak suggests that the iQOO 12 series that includes iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro models might be unveiled on November 7. The successors of the iQOO 11 series are expected to come in three different colors. The iQOO 12 is rumored to feature a 4,880mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, while both models are anticipated to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. There are speculations about up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage for these devices.

The Upcoming iQOO 12 Series

Renowned tipster Panda is Bald revealed on Weibo that the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro are set to debut in China on November 7, available in black, red, and white color options. Another tipster, Digital Chat Station, shared alleged details about the battery and charging capabilities of the iQOO 12 lineup. According to the leak, the regular iQOO 12 will feature a 4,880mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging. In contrast, the iQOO 12 Pro could offer a larger 4,980mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

Previous leaks have suggested that the iQOO 12 series might be equipped with the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, providing up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. These phones are expected to run on Android 14 and feature Samsung E7 AMOLED displays with a 2K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

Additionally, they are likely to have metal bodies and a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and OIS support.
