The iQOO 12 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor was first introduced in India in December 2023 in Legend and Alpha color options. Recently a new variant called the iQOO 12 Desert Red Anniversary Edition was revealed by the company offering a color choice while maintaining the internal specifications.

Priced at ₹52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and ₹57,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model the iQOO 12 Desert Red Anniversary Edition will go on sale via Amazon and iQOO websites starting April 9th. Customers can benefit from a discount of ₹3000 with HDFC and ICICI Bank cards well as no-cost EMI options for up to 9 months. The pricing of this edition is similar to that of the Legend and Alpha variants.
The launch of the 12 Desert Red Anniversary Edition in India marks the company’s anniversary in the country. While initially released in China alongside its launch a few months back this Red colored version is now making its debut in the Indian market. Notably this special edition boasts a vegan leather finish of the glass back seen on models.
When it comes to details the iQOO 12 features a 6.78 inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. It also supports HDR10+. Has a refresh rate of 144Hz. Internally it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno GPU and a specialized Q1 chipset to improve gaming capabilities and frame rates. The device offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and runs on Android 14-based OriginOS 4.0 custom skin out of the box.
For photography enthusiasts, the iQOO 12 features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Omnivision OV50H primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 64MP 3x telephoto camera.
