IPL Playoffs: The [IPL 2023](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Indian_Premier_League) playoffs are just around the corner, and the race to secure a spot in the top four is reaching its climax. With Gujarat Titans being the only team to confirm their qualification so far, the remaining seven teams are battling it out for the remaining three slots.

## ***1. Gujarat Titans (Qualified)***

The defending champions have secured their place in the playoffs with a dominant performance. They will be aiming to maintain their form and secure a top-two finish for a direct entry into Qualifier 1.

## ***2. Chennai Super Kings (***Qualified***)***

The Super Kings have already secured their place in the playoffs after a convincing victory over Delhi Capitals. They currently sit second in the points table and have a chance to finish in the top two. Their final league match against Kolkata Knight Riders will determine their final position.

## ***3. Mumbai Indians (In Danger)***

The Mumbai Indians, five-time IPL champions, are currently in sixth place on the IPL 2023 points table with 14 points. To secure a spot in the playoffs, they must win their final match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and hope for other teams like CSK, LSG, or RCB to lose their matches. In their recent match, Mumbai Indians lost to Lucknow Super Giants by 5 runs. With one match remaining, their fate in the playoffs hangs in the balance, relying on their performance and results of other teams.

## ***4. Lucknow Super Giants (Qualified)***

The Lucknow Super Giants, captained by Krunal Pandya, currently hold the third spot on the IPL 2023 table after playing 14 matches. They emerged victorious against the Kolkata Knight Riders in a closely contested match at the Eden Gardens on May 20. With 17 points and a net run rate of +0.284, the Lucknow Super Giants have already qualified for the playoffs.

## ***5. Royal Challengers Bangalore (In Contention)***

Royal Challengers Bangalore, currently occupies the fourth position on the IPL 2023 table after playing 13 matches. They are one of the teams in contention for a playoff spot. RCB secured a victory against SRH in a match held on May 18. With a remarkable net run rate of +0.180, RCB’s impressive performance could play a significant role in their qualification for the playoffs. So far, they have accumulated 14 points. After a hard-fought victory against PK, the team led by Sanju Samson currently holds the fifth spot on the IPL 2023 table. With 14 matches played, they have accumulated 14 points and boast a net run rate of +0.148. This crucial win keeps them in the hunt for a playoff spot as they continue to battle in the tournament.

## ***7. Kolkata Knight Riders ,***Punjab Kings***(In Danger)***

Unfortunately, the IPL 2023 journey has come to an end for Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings. Kolkata Knight Riders hold the seventh position on the table with 12 points from 13 games, followed by Punjab Kings with 12 points from 14 matches.

Unfortunately, the IPL 2023 journey has come to an end for Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals. Kolkata Knight Riders hold the seventh position on the table with 12 points from 13 games, followed by Punjab Kings with 12 points from 14 matches. Delhi Capitals have accumulated 10 points from 13 matches, while Sunrisers Hyderabad sit with 8 points from 13 games. All teams have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. They will play their remaining matches for pride and to assess their squad for future seasons.
