IPL Mega Auction: Names of players announced Credits- Times Of India

The IPL 2022 Player Auction List got published recently with the name of 590 cricketers. Many out of these are going to get selected by different franchises in the two-day mega auction event that is going to take place on February 12 and 13, 2022.

The 15th edition of the IPL season will feature some of the best cricketers in the world chosen by different franchises.

🚨 NEWS 🚨: IPL 2022 Player Auction list announced

The Player Auction list is out with a total of 590 cricketers set to go under the hammer during the two-day mega auction which will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13, 2022.

Among the 590 players,

  • 228 are capped players
  • 335 are uncapped players
  • 7 belong to Associate Nations

Some of the top Indian cricketers who are going to be a part of the auction are Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Ishan Kishan, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav.

The International cricketers who will be bided against are  Faf du Plessis, David Warner, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Boult, Quinton de Kock, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder, Dwayne Bravo, Shakib Al Hasan, Wanindu Hasaranga.

The 10 IPL Franchises

Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Team Ahmedabad

Lucknow Super Giants and Team Ahmedabad are the two new teams
