LSG have defeated Mumbai Indians by four wickets with four balls to spare. The visitors chased down a total of 145, in what was a closely contested game despite the low totals.
LSG were able to start their bowling performance well by taking wickets early in the game, dismissing Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav in the first and second over. The fifth over was also a great one for them, with Tilak Varma and captain Hardik Pandya both sent back to the pavilion.
However, Ishan Kishan, Nehal Wadhera and Tim David were able to tough it out at the crease and score 30+ to help their side achieve a respectable total. Wadhera missed out on a half century by just four runs, bowled out by Mohsin Khan.

It wasn’t all easy going for Lucknow, though. They won the game with only four balls to spare, but were helped on by a 62-run innings from Marcus Stoinis.
It seemed like Mumbai would somehow force their opponents out of time, with two quick wickets late in the game. However, Nicholas Pooran and Krunal Pandya were able to get the win in time for their team.
Mumbai are now second to last in the IPL table, while Lucknow Super Giants have climbed up to third and are looking set to make it to the playoffs comfortably.
