KKR have defeated DC by seven wickets in their IPL clash at the Eden Gardens. After restricting the visitors to only 153 runs in 20 overs, an emphatic powerplay performance from Phil Salt helped the Knight Riders comfortably chase down the total and earn their points.
Varun Chakravarthy took three wickets in the first innings with a total figure of 3-16 in his four overs. On the other hand, Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana posed almost identical figures of 2 wickets for 28 and 29 runs in their four overs, keeping things economical on their end.

Lizaad Williams had a game he’d want to forget, though. The South African was extremely expensive in his first few overs, and dropped Salt relatively early in the innings. It could have been the game changer had he kept his composure, but the ball fell between his hands.
Axar Patel offered Delhi Capitals a way back into the game, dismissing Sunil Narine and Phil Salt right after the powerplay overs ended to send the teams into a timeout. However, it was too late for them to force the Knight Riders to run out of overs.
