The new kit of Sunrisers Hyderabad has retained their conventional orange-black combination and has a sharp look for IPL 2022.

Sunrisers Hyderabad team recently unveiled their official kit prior to the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 15th edition of IPL is all set to start from the last week of March. The SRH jersey has kept its genuine combination of orange and black but it’s very sharp compared to the previous year.

What does the kit look like?

The kit has orange dots spread on black sleeves, the neck and colour are in pure black, which goes along with the plain orange lower gear. On Twitter, the official profile of SRH tweeted “Presenting our new jersey. The #OrangeArmour for the #OrangeArmy 🧡#ReadyToRise #IPL,”

Earlier, the Ahmedabad-based franchise announced their official team name as Gujarat Titans. Another new entrant is the Lucknow Super Giants which was announced last month.

The IPL’s 15th edition is all set to take place with 10 teams but before that a mega auction is going yo take place. The mega auction will take place on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. A total of 590 players – 228 capped, 355 uncapped and seven from Associate nations – going under the hammer.

The existing eight teams were allowed to retain a maximum of four players. Sunrisers Hyderabad has chosen Kane Williamson along with Abdul Samad and tear-away quick Umran Malik, the acquisitions costing them INR 22 crores as they have an INR 68 crore purse to work around with at the mega auction.

Hyderabad had a very poor performance that was held across India and UAE in two parts due to Covid-19 in May and September.

SRH lost 11 games out of 14 games. Due to their poor performance, David Warner was sacked and replaced by Williamson as a skipper midway through the season.
