Chasing a 208-run chase, KL Rahul mustered 79 runs and Deepak Hooda scored 45. They did keep Lucknow’s hopes alive but started playing well late. For RCB, it was a very narrow victory. Harshal Patel picked 1 wicket and gave out 25 runs and Josh Hazlewood picked 3 wickets and leaked 43 runs in the final two overs of the game. Wanindu Hasaranga on the other hand, scalped the important wicket of Deepak Hooda and gave out 42 runs. Earlier, Rajat Patidar scored a brilliant unbeaten century, 112 in just 55 deliveries and took RCB’s total to 207/4. KL Rahul had won the toss and opted to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Kolkata.
