### What Pat Cummins had to say about his outstanding innings

**“I probably think I’m most surprised by that innings. I’m glad that it came off,** **I was thinking of having a swing if it was in my area. Wasn’t trying to overthink it. Very satisfying to do it on my first game this season. Was just trying to pepper the shorter boundary,”**

### What MI’s skipper Rohit Sharma has to say on Pat Cummins’s performance

“It’s going to be really difficult to digest. The match was looking quite in favour of MI during the middle phase but [**Cummins**](https://www.crictracker.com/pat-cummins-was-getting-bowled-every-now-and-then-in-nets-before-mi-clash-shreyas-iyer/) spoiled it all. Cummins also took two wickets in the same game to flaunt the all-round show.”

### For Ravi Shastri, it was quite an unreal experience

“It was unreal. 35 runs in an over. You have to start thinking when you saw a match like this in which the other team had the upper hand to an extent. Then it goes maybe 60-40 towards the Mumbai Indians. Come the next over, it’s over. It’s been a long time since I have seen a match like this and I’ve seen a lot of cricket.”
