Strength
Faf du Plessis is no longer a part of the team. New Zealand player Devon Conway has to fill the gap. High expectations are led on the all-rounder Shivam Dubey. Shivam Dubey fits into the role of a finisher and it will be great to see his bowling action.
The top order looks quite promising, with Devon Conway, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu in the top four. Shivam Dubey and Robin Uttapah came with Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni in line.
Weakness
Deepak Chahar faced an injury that can possibly affect CSK’s performance. The bowling part of the team does look weak. Chris Jordan, Adam Milne or Dwayne Bravo will pick the slots with the reaming two for Indian pacers. People had a lot of expectations from Deepak Chahar but unfortunately, destiny had some other plans.
