The entire season of IPL 2022 was an unpredictable one. The new entrant, Gujarat Titans lifted their first-ever IPL trophy in the debut season. They defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in the finals. Rajasthan posted a low total of 130-9. Jos Buttler was their leading run-scorer and Hardik Pandya mustered 34 runs with a 53-run stand with Shubman Gill that helped GT get closer to the target. Shubman Gill sealed the deal with a six and GT won this edition’s tournament.
The final was hosted at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad the match started at 7:30 PM IST.
Gujarat Titans didn’t have a lot of star players but Hardik was impressed with his leadership and made the squad play to their best potential. Hardik Pandya played his best with the bat and the ball.
