Match 48 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will feature a clash of titans as Mumbai Indians will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The winner of this important match will qualify for the playoffs. Therefore both the teams would like to solidify that spot as soon as possible and then hunt for the top 2 positions.
Mumbai Indians
The defending champions have looked flawless in their dominating reign this year. They would like to continue with what they’re already doing. Every aspect of their game looks sharp and on point. They would like to get those two wins to qualify for the playoffs as soon as possible.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
RCB, on the other hand, has one of the most stable combinations of all teams this season as well. However, they’ll have to improve their strike rate especially in the earlier overs, and make use of the powerplay.

PREDICTION
Despite losing their previous match and the absence of Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians have been really consistent in their approach. They’re still batting and bowling phenomenally. RCB has been consistent as well, their top-order has lost form and lower middle-order isn’t contributing much. Mumbai Indians will therefore defeat the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
